The designer Chiara Boni presents the White collection in Milan: among the most spectacular creations there is a dress capable of shining with its own light (metaphor aside).
Wedding dresses are made for dreaming. Among romantic embroideries, veils and sumptuous skirts, white dresses allow the wearer to experience a fairy tale on a special day, with unique and spectacular creations. From 14 to 17 April 2023, all the novelties in bridal fashion will be presented in Milan at the Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni fair , where Chiara Boni La Petite Robe will also show for the first time . The Tuscan designer, back from the success of the New York fashion shows, presents the White collection dedicated to weddings with a spectacular creation: a dress of pure light capable of shining in the dark.
The Aurora Borealis inspired wedding dress:
All brides shine with a special light, but this is not a figurative expression. Chiara Boni has in fact designed a wedding dress capable of lighting up in the dark . It’s a one-shoulder white dress with a gathered frill at the neckline and a flared, airy skirt. The dress will be presented at Sì Sposaitalia in an installation entitled ” Light will dress the future “, created in collaboration with the interior designer Alessia Galimberti. The dress, inspired by an aurora borealis , is set against a backdrop of illuminated trees: a tribute to the force of nature and an ode to a sustainable vision of life.
How the fabric that glows in the dark works?
But how is this magic possible? Merit of the Dreamlux fabric , a patented technology that combines the fabric with the most advanced optical fiber technology right from the weaving phase. The optical fiber is then connected to the light source and powered by batteries or directly from the socket: the creations, all Made in Italy, are used in the field of fashion and interior design. Chiara Boni and Alessia Galimberti’s wedding dress embodies the ideals of grace, excellence and femininity that have always characterized the work of the Italian designer. The entire bridal collection looks to the future: from the choice of materials (including stretch jersey) to the attention to sustainability. Future brides, get inspired!
