Chiara Boni Spring Summer 2023 Runway Show

“Love is the flower you have to let grow.” – John Lennon

For her return to New York Fashion Week, Chiara Boni invited her guests to a joyful catwalk show on September 13, 2022, at the Gallery at Spring Studios in New York. The collection was imbued with the happy atmosphere of a summer wedding party.

Notable guests supporting the designer included: Paola Torrente, Carole Radziwill, Serena Kerrigan, Melissa Gorga, Sara Gore and Sydney Sadick.

In a festive atmosphere, with Anita Ekberg’s seductive voice weaving over music echoing the word “love”, models in an array of dresses walk the runway, celebrating the brand’s sophisticated yet always flexible and dynamic femininity.

The micro and maxi florals are worked in a kaleidoscopic color palette: it ranges from softer and subtle shades of white, cream and sorbet, such as tuberose and lavender, to touches of turquoise and black.

Romantic florals with a dreamy vibe from maxi and mini jersey dresses.

Sequined embroidery, designed to glow at night, adds glamor to cocktail dresses enhanced with metallic appliqués creating a contrasting stitching effect.

The festive mood of the collection is elevated by accessories such as elegant gloves and impressive hats. Stunning lurex dresses and elaborate drapes made from a coated, lightweight jersey form part of the range.

A parade of impeccably elegant yet highly intelligent brides closes the show on a romantic and happy note.

Music: Thomas Costantin

The music specially composed by Thomas Costantin is a celebration of love and beauty. It begins with a dreamy soundscape in which vocals taken from classic cinema and samples of the iconic wedding march intersect and then progresses to fresh, feminine and ironic sounds, to disco music, which takes us to New York to dance, joy and lightness.
